ZZ Plant

If you’ve killed every office plant you’ve ever owned, the ZZ Plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia) is the one that will finally survive. Its waxy, deep-green leaflets store water in thick rhizomes, letting it go weeks without attention.

This plant tolerates low light and irregular watering better than almost any other houseplant, which is exactly why it’s become a go-to pick for desks, reception areas, and meeting rooms.

Care level: Very easy. Water only when the soil is completely dry, roughly every 2-3 weeks, and avoid direct sun which can scorch the leaves.
